About College:
Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah Unversity has come into existence by an Act of the Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly called the Jammu & Kashmir Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Act No. XVI of 2002. The University is nurtured by the Jammu & Kashmir Wakf Council. The motto of the University is "Iqra bismi Rabbik alladi Khalaq" which means, "Read in the name of GOD who has created all that exists". It reflects the vision and idealism for which the university stands. The objective identified for the university in the Act is to import quality education and undertake research in basic and job oriented fields.Accordingly, the university has launched postgraduate teaching programmmes in Business Management, Financiial Management, Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Arabic, Applied Mathematics and B.Tech in Electronics and Communication, Computer Sciences & Engineering and Information Technology.

Procedure for Admission to M. Sc. Mathematics (Specialisation: Applied Mathematics) & Mathematics (Morning & Evening) / Also alternative route of Admission in MCA & M.Sc. IT Programme.
· For admission to M. Sc. Mathematics (Specialisation Applied Mathematics) & Masters in Mathematics programmes, Morning as well as Evening, also alternative route of Admission in MCA & M.Sc. ITProgramme. all eligible candidates are required to undergo written Entrance Test which will be conducted at BGSB University Campus, Rajouri and any other Centres if the University so decides.
· Syllabus and Model Question Paper for the Entrance Test will be available on the University website from where these can be downloaded. Admit Cards for Entrance Test can be collected by the candidates from the Department, Camp or Regional Offices of the University

· For admission to M. Sc. Physics, all eligible candidates are required to undergo written Entrance Test which will be conducted at BGSB University Campus, Rajouri and any other Centres if the University so decides.
· Syllabus and Model Question Paper for the Entrance Test will be available on the University website from where these can be downloaded. Admit Card for Entrance Test will be collected by the candidates from the Department, Camp or Regional Offices of the University.

Procedure for Admission
Admission to Diploma Engineering courses for University quota shall be made on the basis of Merit in the qualifying examination. While those allocated to BoPEE will be filled through Entrance Examination conducted by BoPEE.

Eligibility:
10th pass with two years ITI Course in the relevant or allied branch or 12th pass with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.
Procedure for Admission: The admission shall be made on the basis of marks secured in qualifying examination.

Eligibility:
Passed 10 + 2 examination from any recognized Board of School Education with any subject combination. Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination and those whose result of the qualifying examination is awaited can also apply provisionally.

Eligibility:
The eligibility condition for admission to B. Voc. programme shall be 10+2, in any stream or level-4 of NSQF.
Procedure for Admission
The admission will be made for 50 seats on the basis of academic merit of qualifying examination or by entrance Test (will be held at BGSBU) if the number of admission seekers is more.

· For admission to MBA programme all eligible candidates shall have to appear in the Common Management Admission Test (C-MAT) conducted by the All India Management Association between June 2019 and May 2020 or Common Aptitude Test (CAT) or Management Aptitude Test (MAT) of March 2020 / or Appeared in CUCET- 2020.
· Candidates desirous of admission to MBA programme of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University should apply to BGSB University separately on the prescribed Application Form attached with the Admission Prospectus - 2020.

Students can also apply The Application form with all documents and Demand Draft for Rs. 1000/, drawn in favour of Registrar, BGSB University Rajouri, payable at J&K Bank, BGSB University Campus, Rajouri can be deposited at any of the four above mentioned offices of the University.
The cut off dates for submission of duly filled Admission Application Form, and dates for Entrance Tests for Under and Post Graduate programmes will be notified on University Website and through print and electronic media from time to time.
