Eligibility:

Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent level exam with science stream in 2019 or 2020 are eligible to apply for admissions. Candidates will be admitted to IISER only through following three channels.

1.    Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) channel

2.    Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Advanced) of the Indian Institutes of Technology

3.    State and Central Boards Channel (SCB)

These channels will be referred to as KVPY, JEE, and SCB, respectively.

Indian nationals and students belonging to PIO or OCI category are eligible to apply provided they satisfy the eligibility criteria described below.

KVPY Channel

Candidates having a valid KVPY fellowship commencing from 2020-21 academic session are eligible to apply for admissions. Additional cut-off criteria for marks obtained in 10+2 board examination is also applicable.

JEE-Advanced Channel

Candidates in General category securing a rank within 10000 in the Common Rank List (CRL) of JEE Advanced 2020 are eligible to apply. For candidates belonging to the reserved category (OBC-NC, SC, ST, PD), their category rank should be within 10000. Additional cut-off criteria for marks obtained in 10+2 board examination is also applicable

SCB Channel

·         Students who have passed 10+2 level with science stream in 2019 or 2020 are eligible to apply for admissions and appear for IAT 2020.

·         However, they will be considered for admissions to the degree programmes only if they obtain the cut-off marks specified for their board.

·         Students applying through SCB channel will have to appear in the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) which will be conducted at various centres across the country.

How to Apply:

·         In order to apply for IISER Admissions 2020, a candidate has to first do online registration using the Registration link given on the website.

·         After successful registration, you will receive login id  on your registered mobile number along with the password

·         Using these login credentials, candidates should fill online application form  using Application Login link given on the website.

Eligibility:

A. The Candidate must hold a bachelor degree (Regular) with at least 55% marks or 6.0 CPI/CGPA on a 10 Point Scale in aggregate. A relaxation of 5% marks or 0.5 in CPI/CGPA may be extended to the candidates belonging to scheduled caste (SC)/ Scheduled tribe (ST)/persons with disabilities (PWD) category.

B. A candidate must have appeared in CAT/MAT/CMAT (the tests taken between september 2019 to february 2020) with a minimum cut-off of 50 percentile is eligible to apply with a valid Score Card.

C. The students who are appearing in their final semester examination may also apply. however, they must have obtained at least 55% marks or 6.0 CPI/CGPA on a 10 point scale till their last semester/year. also, they will have to submit an undertaking as per annexure-v of the application form duly ratified by their respective university/institutions. such candidates, if selected, will be admitted provisionally, on the condition that they will complete all the requirements for the qualifying degee with minimum marks or CPI/CGPA stipulated above (Point A), before the commencement of the programme and produce a provisional certificate of completion within 15th september 2020, failing which their admission will stand cancelled.

D. The Bachelor degree in distance mode recognised by DDE and IGNOU may be considered.

Qualification: (I) Matriculation or equivalent examination from a recognized Board/University with Mathematics and Science (Physics and chemistry or both) with min 50% marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC/physically handicapped). How to Apply:

1) Prospectus and application form (part of prospectus) can be downloaded from our website. However to apply, candidates are required to send filled in application along with Demand Draft towards the cost of prospectus. DD should be in favour of 'Tool Room & Training Centre' payable at Patna.

2) Prospectus and model question papers can be obtained in person from TRTC Office from 11th May 2020 to 20th April 2020, on Working days between 10.00 am to 2.00 pm. by paying cost of prospectus.

3) Those who want to avail Prospectus by registered post should send self addressed A-4 size envelope with Registered postal stamp affixed on the envelop along with DD towards the cost of Prospectus. The Regional Medical Research Centre (ICMR), Bhubaneswar is a permanent research centre of Indian Council of Medical Research. The foundation stone of the centre was laid by the then prime minister of India Late Mrs. Indira Gandhi on 29th March 1981.Initially the Center started in a small rental accommodation in 1982 and shifted to the Centre’s own building in year 1990 after completion. National Institute of Malaria Research (NIMR) was established in 1977 as ‘Malaria Research Centre’, which was renamed as ‘National Institute of Malaria Research’ in November 2005. Candidates who have appeared or are appearing for qualifying examination in the academic year 2020 are also eligible to apply. However, such candidates will have to submit the proof of qualifying marks either at the time of interview or if selected at the time of admission. Kindly note that registration for PhD degree at AcSIR will happen only after fulfilling the eligibility criteria.
