Maharashtra MAH MBA MMS CET 2016. The admissions to the first year of two year full time Post Graduate Courses in Management (MBA, MMS) for the academic year 2016-17 shall be made through MHA-MBA, MMS-CET 2016. Applications are invited for the Common Entrance Test (CET) - MAH-MBA, MMS-CET 2016 for admission to the Management Courses viz. MBA, MMS.

For CET for admission to First Year of Post Graduate Degree Courses in MBA, MMS in the Government, University Managed, University Departments and Unaided Institutes in the Maharashtra State

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate should be passed with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of candidates of Backward Class Categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) in any Bachelor’s degree awarded by any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institutions established by an Act of Parliament or Declared to be Deemed as a University u, s 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India

Candidates who have appeared for MAH-MBA, MMS-CET-2016, CAT-2015 (conducted by IIMs), GMAT (conducted by GMAC, USA), CMAT 2016 (Conducted by AICTE), MAT (conducted by AIMA), XAT (conducted by XLRI), ATMA (conducted by AIMS) are considered to be eligible for admission against the All India Seats subject to the fulfillment of eligibility criteria

Admission Procedure

1.     MAH-MBA,MMS-CET 2016 shall be conducted only in the online mode in multiple sessions; if required, Competent Authority, using standardized equi-percentile method, will be equating scores across sessions

2.     Aspiring candidates should note that, the tests are not disclosed to anybody else other than the candidates only during the examination. The test papers are also not shared with anybody even after the exam

3.     The CET comprises multiple-choice objective type questions in the areas of Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude and Logical, Abstract Reasoning. In all, there would be 200 questions to be answered in a total time of two and half hours (i.e. One hundred and fifty minutes)

4.     It is mandatory for all aspiring candidates to Register & Confirm the Online Application Form for MAH-MBA, MMS-CET 2016 at website

5.     Application form processing fees as stated below is to be paid at any Axis Bank Branches in cash through e-Challan as per schedule during the working hours of the respective Branches. The candidates can also do online payment of the fees by Internet Payment, Credit Card, Debit Card payment gateway for which the service charges, as per rules, shall be applicable in addition to the application form processing fees. No other mode of payment shall be permitted. For Open Category Candidates from Maharashtra State, Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), J & K Migrant candidates and NRI, Foreign Nationals, PIO, Children of India Works in the Gulf Countries Candidates Rs. 1000/-. For Candidates of Backward Class Categories (SC, ST, VJ,DT-NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC) and & Persons with Disability Candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only Rs. 800,-

6.     The Centralized Admission Process will consist of total four rounds, out of which first three rounds shall be based on computerized allotment and last round by counseling

Eligibility Criteria

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:

a) The candidates should be Indian Nationals and should satisfy local, non-local status requirements laid down in the Andhra Pradesh State Educational Institutions
b) The candidates other than Indian Nationals should satisfy the rules of the Universities concerned

c) The candidates seeking admission

For MBA: Should have passed recognized Bachelors Degree Examination of minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC,ST reserved categories) in the qualifying examination

e) The candidates who are appearing for the final year degree exam shall also be eligible to appear for APICET-2016

f) Admission into any college depends on its Recognition, Affiliation by the Statutory Bodies
g) Qualifying marks in APICET - 2016 is 25% and no minimum marks are prescribed for SC, ST candidates

Mere qualification in the entrance test does not entitle a candidate to find admission into MBA, MCA course unless the candidate:

i) Appears for Counseling at the notified Centers
ii) Applies in response to the admission notification issued by the authority concerned (for part- time, evening, distance mode)
iii) Satisfies all the eligibility criteria for admission as stipulated by the authority concerned

APICET 2016 Exam Pattern

The ICET question paper contains multiple choice objective types test with 200 questions. It is divided into three sections and the exam must be completed within 150 minutes

The three sections are Analytical Ability: 75 questions, Mathematical Ability: 75 questions,

Communication Ability: 50 questions

Eligibility:

Age Limitation Criteria: Candidates must be of the 21-32 year till the 1st January of the year of the admission.

Education Qualification Criteria: To be eligible for the Exam of Combined Geo-Scientist & Geologist 2016 candidates must have Master’s degree in Geology, Applied Geology or Math Geology from a recognized university or the Board.

·         Candidates having the diploma of Associateship in Applied Geology of Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad or a Degree (Master’s) in Mineral exploration from a recognized university (for posts in GSI): or Master’s degree in Hydro-geology from a recognized University (for the post in CGWB).

·         Candidates in the final year of the examination can also apply for the examination.

Application Fee: Candidates are required to pay Rs. 200/- while SC, ST, Ex-serviceman category candidates are exempted from paying application fee.

Application fee should be paid through depositing money into any branch of SBI by cash or Net Banking of SBI, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur, State Bank of Hyderabad, Mysore, Patiala, Travancore or by using Visa, Master Credit, Debit Card.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in written examination, interview and personal interview.

How to Apply:

Candidates who want to apply for the exam must apply by filling the application form when it will be available. The application form will be available in the Online Mode only and candidates must have to fill the application form and do the payment for the form till the last date of the application. Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test TNSET 2016 for Assistant Professor

Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test TNSET 2016 for Assistant Professor has been announced.  Mother Teresa Women's University is nominated as Nodal Agency for Tamil Nadu to conduct the TNSET-2016.

On behalf of UGC, Mother Teresa Women’s University, Kodaikanal (MTWU), Tamil Nadu announces holding of the State Eligibility Test (TNSET-2016) on 21st February 2016 (Sunday) for determining the eligibility for Assistant Professor in Tamil Nadu universities and colleges.

MTWU will conduct TNSET-2016 in 25 subjects at 16 selected Centres of Exam spread across the state Candidates who qualify the TNSET-2016 are governed by the recruitment rules and regulations stipulated for the Assistant Professors of concerned Universities, Colleges, Institutions (Govt., Aided, Private) of Tamil Nadu State

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates who have secured at least 55% of marks (without rounding off) for General Category and 50% for Backward Classes, Most Backward Classes (MBC), Denotified Communities (DNC), SC, ST, PWD-VH, PH, in Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from universities, institutions recognized by UGC New Delhi, in subjects like Science, Humanities (including languages), Social Science, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. are eligible to appear for this test

Candidates who have appeared (OR) will be appearing at the Master’s Degree (final year) exam and whose result is still awaited (OR) candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also appear for this test

However, such candidates will be admitted provisionally and for those who clear the TNSET-2016 exam, eligibility certificate will be issued only on production of proof for having passed the Master’s degree or equivalent exam securing at least 55% marks for General Category & 50% for BC, MBC, DNC & SC, ST, PWD-VH,PH within two years from the date of TNSET Exam, failing which they will be treated as disqualified

The PhD degree holders whose Master’s Degree completed on or before 19th September 1991 (irrespective of declaration of result) shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% marks for appearing in TNSET-2016 exam

Candidates shall appear for TNSET-2016 exam in their relevant subject of their post-graduation only, in case the candidate did not find the subject of his post graduation in the list of TNSET-2016 subjects, the candidate may appear in UGC-NET, UGC-CSIR NET, which is held twice a year

The competent authority must issue the community certificates submitted by the candidates; in case their certificate is found to be invalid by the TNSET-2016 agency at any stage, their candidature will be cancelled and they shall be liable for legal action

Age Limit

There is no upper age limit for applying for TNSET- 2016 examination

Scheme of Exam

The Test will consist of three papers. All the three papers will consist of only objective type questions and will be held on 21st February 2016 (Sunday) in three separate sessions as under:
Paper I [100 Marks; 60 out of which 50 questions to be attempted; Duration: 1¼ Hrs (09.30 am to 10.45 am)]
Paper II [100 marks; 50 questions all are compulsory; Duration 1¼ Hrs (11.15 am to 12.30 pm)]
Paper III [150 marks; 75 questions all are compulsory; Duration 2½ Hrs (02.00 pm to 04.30 pm)]

Exam Fee

Candidates applying for TN State Eligibility Test 2016 need to pay the Exam Fee through Credit, Debit Card or e-Challan; the payment should be deposited in the State Bank of India (SBI). The fee for various categories is mentioned below:

For BC,MBC,DNC Candidates: Rs. 1250/-

How to Apply

Candidate seeking admission to the Test (TNSET-2016,) must apply online only on the MTWU Website  Before applying Online, the candidates must possess the scanned images as below: (i) Passport size photograph in JPG format of minimum 4kb to 40 kb. The dimension of the photograph should be 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height); (ii) Signature in JPG format of minimum 4kb to 30 Kb; the dimension of the signature should be 3.5 cm (width) x 1.5 cm (height)
After filling all the details for applying, online for TNSET-2016 the candidates have to select the option of payment of examination fee either by credit, debit card or through e-challan generated during the online filling of the application form
The candidates are required to bring a photo identity card along with their printout of online admission card on the day of examination
Please note that Fee submitted through any other mode like Money Order, Demand Draft, IPO etc. will be summarily rejected

Paper Pattern for JIPMER MBBS 2016:

·         The pattern of JIPMER MBBS entrance examination is Physics: 60Q, Chemistry: 60Q, Biology: 60Q, Logic and Quantitative Reasoning: 10Q & English and Comprehension: 10Q.

·         Each answer with correct response shall be awarded one mark.

·         Zero mark will be given for the question not answered.

·         There is no negative marking.

Eligibility for applying B.Tech Courses

A pass in intermediate or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in Maths, Physics and Chemistry is mandatory for applying B.Tech courses.

Eligibility for applying B.Arch Courses

·         The test is of 2 hours duration.

·         The answers have to be marked in the specially designed OMR answer sheet which will be provided at the time of the admission test.

In pursuance of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, Notification, the 3rd Joint Entrance Examination (Main) - 2016 will be conducted by the JEE Apex Board for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programmes in NITs, IIITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions etc.

The admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs at NITs, IIITs, other centrally funded Technical Institutions, Institutions funded by several participating State Governments, and several other Institutions shall include the performance in the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main). For admission to NITs, Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) like IIITs etc. and other participating Institutions, the merit, rank list shall be prepared based on 40% weightage to school Boards marks in class 12th or equivalent 3 examination and 60% weightage to JEE(Main). The weightage to school Board, Equivalent examination marks shall be considered only after normalization.

The States of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Nagaland & Odisha have joined JEE (Main) system. Therefore, the candidates seeking admission to the institutions in these states, which were earlier admitting based on their State level examination, are also advised to fill in the JEE (Main) - 2016 application form online.

The JEE (Main) will also be an eligibility test for the JEE (Advanced), which the candidate has to take if he,she is aspiring for admission to the undergraduate programmes offered by the IITs, ISM Dhanbad.

INFORMATION BULLETIN:

The detailed information bulletin containing details of examination, syllabus, eligibility criteria to appear, examination fee, cities of examination, State code of eligibility, age relaxation, process of normalization of marks, eligibility for admission, reservation policies and important dates will be available on JEE (Main) website on 1st December 2015. The aspiring candidates are requested to download the information bulletin from above mentioned website only and read the same carefully before applying.

APPLICATION FORM:        

The aspiring candidates have to apply online only through JEE (Main) website. The online application process will start from 01st December 2015 onwards; the last date for application is 31st December, 2015. The eligibility criteria for JEE (Main) & JEE (Advanced) are different. The candidates are requested to read the information bulletin carefully and themselves ensure their eligibility as per the criteria laid down for JEE (Main) as well as JEE (Advanced). In order to facilitate the aspiring candidates, the JEE (Main) secretariat has designated Facilitation Centres across the country who will help the candidates in filling online application without any charge. The list of such institutes is available on the JEE (Main) website and in JEE (Main) - 2016 Information Bulletin.

B.YEAR OF APPEARANCE IN QUALIFYING EXAMINATION (QE)

Only those candidates who have passed their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2014 or 2015: or those who are appearing in their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2016 are eligible to appear in JEE (Main) – 2016. Candidates who passed Class 12th,Qualifying examination in 2013 or before as well as those who will appear in such examination in 2017 or later are not eligible to appear in JEE (Main) – 2016. The candidates who appeared in class 12th, equivalent qualifying Examinations in 2013, did not pass in 2013, but passed in 2014 are also not eligible to appear in JEE (Main) 2016. The candidates willing to appear for improvement examination of class 12th in 2016 have to appear in all the 5 subjects as per the scheme of study of the concerned board. Further, they may also note that in the percentile system, the total marks (of all five subjects) obtained, shown on the mark-sheet of a particular year are required in JEE (Main) and also in JEE (Advanced). The marks from two different year’s (i.e. marks for 3 subjects from year 2015 and marks for other 2 subjects from 2016) mark-sheets cannot be considered for percentile calculation.

C. NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS:

The number of attempts which a candidate can avail at JEE (Main) shall be limited to 03 (three).

D. NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS AND AGE LIMIT FOR THE STATES OF MAHARASHTRA AND ODISHA:

Since the States of Maharashtra and Odisha have joined JEE (Main) system. The age limit, for admission to institutions in these states which were earlier admitting candidates based on their State level examinations, will be as per their past practice only. The number of attempts in such cases will also remain same as per their past practice. This will, however, be obviously not applicable for admission to IITs, NITs, IITs, CFTIs.

EXAMINATION FEE

The fee can be remitted in the following ways;

·         Through E-challan generated after successful submission of online application form. The fee through E-challan may be deposited in any branch of Syndicate, Canara, ICICI, HDFC Bank.

How to Apply:

ONLINE APPLICATION FORM SUBMISSION:

Online application has to be submitted through JEE (Main) - 2016 website. The aspiring candidate should furnish all the details and upload scanned image of his, her photograph, signature and left hand thumb impression while filling up the 'On-line' Application. Candidates are required to take a print out of the computer generated acknowledgment slip after successful submission of data and payment of fee and keep the same in the safe custody for any future reference.

Important Note:
