The JGEEBILS test is a shared entrance test for graduate programmes in Biology and interdisciplinary life sciences. The test originated from the TIFR annual entrance test for Biology, which was used by DBS/TIFR as well as NCBS/TIFR. The motivation for this shared test is to reduce the difficulties that students faced with multiple entrance tests, and to reduce the duplication of effort by many institutions in conducting such examinations. JGEEBILS is intended to serve as a common point for students from any science discipline or engineering to start the process to apply for biology graduate programmes around India. Participating institutions contribute questions and logistical support for conducting the examination. This year the examination will be on 8th December 2019.

Each participating institution has its own admission process and eligibility criteria. The JGEEBILS test is only one step in this. In general, applicants must apply separately to each participating institution that they are interested in. Please visit the institutional websites for details of these different entrance processes.

Fee waivers: a waiver of application fee on grounds of financial distress may be requested by a letter from the principal or the head of the Department justifying the request. Students may apply online and send the waiver letter/request from the principal/HOD (On their letter head duly signed and stamped) by post to "The Asstt. Alternately, The recommendation letter can be scanned and uploaded profile. these requests would be considered depending on availability of seats and cannot be guaranteed.

Students may take the online test in multiple subjects provided the timings do not clash. Please submit separate application for each subject.

Eligibility:

Minimum qualification for admission to the PGDM program at the Institute is three / four years bachelor’s degree with minimum 55% marks in aggregate (50% for SC/ST) in any discipline recognized by Association of Indian Universities. However preference will be given to Engineering, Economics, Commerce, Management and Computer Science graduates and candidates with relevant work experience.

Candidates appearing for final year or final semester of their graduate degree examination in academic year 2018-19 are also eligible to appear for the admission process. Such candidates, if called for interview, should submit the copy of admit card or a letter from the principal of the college where they are studying to that effect. Three stage admission process is followed by the Institute as per the guidelines of AICTE. These stages are

A candidate desirous of seeking admission in Xavier Institute of Social Service, Ranchi will have to appear in an all India level management admission test. Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT 2019) conducted by XLRI, Jamshedpur (exam date: 6th January 2019), Common Admission Test (CAT 2018) conducted by IIM Lucknow, (exam date: 25th November, 2018) and (CMAT 2019) conducted by AICTE, New Delhi are the only approved examinations through which a candidate can apply to XISS Ranchi. Aspiring candidates will have to apply online for appearing in one or more exams by visiting www.xatonline.net.in, www.iimcat.ac.in, or http://aicte-cmat.in.

The candidates will have to apply separately at XISS, Ranchi. The institute will accept only online registrations. Step I:

Step II:

While registering for SNAP, applicant has to also apply for SIIB in the same application form. A programme fee of Rs. 1000/- (non-refundable) is to be paid to SIIB for each programme that the aspirant wishes to apply.

3.    On successful registration and payment the admission office will be sending the prospectus to the student

3. PDF Format

A student can download the PDF Form using the button Download PDF Form, complete it manually and paste a passport size photo on the form. Send the duly filled Application Form along with Demand Draft of the requisite Application form fee drawn in favour of "International School of Business & Media" payable at Pune and send it to the registered campus address labelling it to ISB&M Admissions Office, Pune. Once the admission office receives the form, the admission office will send mail/courier the prospectus to the student.

Scholarship and Rewards*

The institute has the provision for awarding the following scholarship and rewards to the deserving performers.

Merit scholarship:

Rs. 1, 00,000 per year for 2 applicants having a securing at least 80 percentile in CAT/XAT.

Rs. 50,000 per year for 5 applicants having a securing at least 75 percentile in CAT/XAT.

Rs. 25,000 per year for 10 applicants having a securing at least 70 percentile in CAT/XAT.

Merit scholarship for women candidates: Rs. 25,000 per year for 5 applicants having a securing at least 70 percentile in CAT/XAT. (If not selected in any other scholarship Category)

Note:

·         Upon admissions, candidate will go through a selection committee & will be recommended candidate will receive scholarship.

·         All recipients will receive only if maintain A grade CGPA at the end of 1st trimester.

Group A:

Selection procedure: Names of shortlisted candidates will be announced on our website on 20th November 2019.
