Eligibility:

Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in any discipline from a statutory university with at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA. Candidates graduating by 31st July, 2019 can also apply but must prove their eligibility latest by 30th September, 2019. About College:

The Osmania University, established in 1918, is the seventh oldest in the country, third oldest in South India and the first to be established in the princely State of Hyderabad.  Though the need for a university for the Hyderabad State was felt, both by the intelligentsia and the people for a long time, the initiative came from a civil servant, Sir Akbar Hydari, who was then the Home Secretary to the State Government.  Sir Akbar, in a Memorandum to the Education Minister in early 1917, emphasized the need to establish a University for Hyderabad with ‘Urdu’ as the medium of instruction “as it is the language of the widest currency in India, official language of the State, and it is a language which is understood by a vast majority of the population of the State.”  He believed that higher education must have its foundations deep in the national consciousness.

MANAGE was established in 1987, as the National Centre for Management of Agricultural Extension at Hyderabad, by the Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India as an autonomous Institute, from which its acronym ‘MANAGE’ is derived. Refund of Fee:

Qualifying Examination:

A candidate should have a valid test score not older than two years from the closing date of application in any of the following tests:

·         CAT conducted by IIMs (For all areas)

·         GMAT

·         GRE

·         GATE

·         UGC/JRF (other JRFs will not be considered)

·         PGDM of IIMs. (The candidates should have obtained the qualifying degree or diploma, not more than five years ago (For all areas)

* Non-Resident Indians, persons of Indian origin and other foreign citizens should have a valid GMAT/GRE score of not older than two years from the closing date of application.

In addition, candidates with 3 years of academic experience and not having any of the above test score may appear for Research Aptitude Test (RAT) to be conducted by IIM Rohtak for shortlisting.

IMPORTANT:

Those appearing for the final year of eligibility exams can also apply; but, their final selection will be subject to successful completion of the requirement. Such applicants should submit the required proof of their eligibility qualifications before joining the programme.

The respective Areas will decide its own choice of tests (one or multiple) from among the tests listed above. A candidate can apply to two Areas at a time on payment of admission fee separately. Therefore, getting shortlisted or selected in one Area will not guarantee shortlisting or selection in another Area. Further, if different Areas schedule the interviews on the same date and time, the candidate will be required to decide which Area interview s/he would attend and the candidate will not be entitled to claim any special consideration including rescheduling of interviews.

Candidates possessing PGDM of IIMs with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 out of 10 or equivalent will be eligible for applying directly (i.e., without again taking qualifying examination).

Wherever the total and/or the sectional scores of the qualifying examination mentioned above, the candidates should have scored at least 80 percentile in CAT, 85% in GATE in total to be eligible to apply for the FPM of IIM Rohtak. In case of GMAT, the minimum required score, must be 600 and be in the top15 percentile. The actual cut-off scores used by different Areas for shortlisting may, however, be higher than the scores mentioned as minimum eligibility.

Personal Interview:

The number of candidates to be called for interview in each Area will be decided by the Area. The shortlisted candidates will be called for personal interview at IIM Rohtak or any other venue fixed by the Institute which will be mentioned in the call letter for interview. In the interviews, the candidates will be assessed for their intellectual capabilities, research aptitude and interest in the management discipline.

·         Application form is available at the link http://admission.imi.edu and must be submitted online. IMI does not accept admission applications off-line.

·         Applicant should complete the online application form and submit the same along with the admission application fee which is non-refundable.

·         The admission application fee is as follows:

An applicant desirous of applying for the PGDM Programme at IMI Bhubaneswar only, will be required to pay a fee of Rs. 1000 (For International Student Application Fee will be USD 100).

An applicant desirous of applying to PGDM Programme at IMI Delhi and in any of the other campuses of IMI will be required to pay a common application fee of Rs.2200.

(For Example: A candidate wishing to apply to the PGDM Programme at IMI Bhubaneswar only will be required to pay Rs. 1000. However, a candidate applying to the PGDM Programme at IMI Delhi will be required to pay Rs. 2200. A candidate applying to PGDM Programme at IMI Bhubaneswar and IMI Delhi will be required to pay Rs. 2200.)

·         The admission fee can be paid through Credit Card/ Debit Card/Bank transfer through the designated payment gateway. No receipts are to be sent to IM I’s Admission Office in such cases.

·         Payment can also be made by Demand Draft, drawn in favor of International Management Institute, payable at New Delhi for all campuses, giving the IMI Application Form number, Programme and campus reference on the reverse of the Demand Draft. In the absence of the above information the application will be treated as incomplete and liable to be rejected. All payments by Demand Draft are to be sent to IMI, Delhi, irrespective of the Campus applied to.

·         Applications complete in all respects, including application fee, should be submitted online by midnight of Monday, December 03 2018. Incomplete forms are liable to be summarily rejected.

PhD (Integrated) [MSc-PhD in Biotechnology]

Eligibility:

Indian students

Students with 60% aggregate marks (or an equivalent grade point average) in Bachelor's degree in any branch of Science, Engineering, or Medicine are eligible to be apply for admission. Students from the SC, ST, OBC (non-creamy layer), and PWD categories shall be given a relaxation of 5% aggregate marks. Students in the final year of their qualifying degree program are also eligible to apply provided that they produce a proof of having secured the required marks in their undergraduate degree program at the time of admission to the PhD (Integrated) program.

Eligible students are required to appear for the Joint Graduate Entrance Examination for Biology and Interdisciplinary Life Sciences (JGEEBILS) Last date for applying for JGEEBILS: 15 November 2018. Shortlisted students, based on their performance in the JGEEBILS, shall be invited to appear for interview for their final selection to the PhD (Integrated) program. The interview is to assess the student for his science aptitude and interest in a career in scientific research and development. Up to 20 students, who meet the desired criteria for selection, may be admitted. There shall be reservation of seats for students from the SC, ST, OBC and PWD categories as per the orders of the Govt. of India in this regard.

Foreign students

Students with 60% aggregate marks (or an equivalent grade point average) in Bachelor's degree in any branch of Science, Engineering, or Medicine are eligible to apply for admission. Students in the final year of their qualifying degree program are also eligible to apply provided that they produce a proof of having secured the required marks in their undergraduate degree program at the time of admission to the PhD (Integrated) program. Eligible students are required to apply online for admission and fellowship to the program. Shortlisted students shall be invited to appear for a Skype-based interview for their selection to the PhD (Integrated) program. The interview is to assess the student for his science aptitude and interest in a career in scientific research and development. Up to 5 students, who meet the desired criteria for selection, may be admitted. Admission of foreign students is subject to them getting the student visa from the Govt. of India.

FELLOWSHIPS

The Indian and foreign students admitted to the program shall receive the RCB-Ramachandran-DBT fellowship Rs. 16000 per month for the first 2 years of the program, after which the Indian students shall be required to qualify for the junior/senior research fellowships offered by CSIR, ICMR, DBT, or other such funding agencies. The performance of the foreign students, after completion of their MSc component of the program, shall be evaluated by the Student Advisory Committee and based on its positive recommendation the student shall be awarded the RCB-DBT International Doctoral fellowship equivalent to the fellowships offered to Indian students from different funding agencies as per the relevant DST guidelines. Currently, the amount of the junior research fellowship is Rs. 25000 per month and it is Rs. 28000 per month for the senior research fellowship.

DURATION OF THE PROGRAM

The duration of the PhD (Integrated) program is a minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 7 years. HOSTEL FACILITIES

On campus shared boarding and lodging facilities are available for admitted students on payment of prescribed fees.

Eligible candidates may apply online (RCB WILL START ACCEPTING ONLINE APPLICATIONS FROM 5 NOVEMBER 2018) for admission to the PhD (Integrated) program of the Regional Centre for Biotechnology. The application fee of Rs. 500 may be paid online. The SC, ST, PWD candidates and foreign students are exempted from payment of the application fee.

NITIE Alumni Association (NAA) has been functioning to maintain the alumni relations of NITIE amongst the past students. Maintaining a strong alumni relations program is essential to the growth and development of our institute. ·         Provided they qualify the above criteria for examinations appeared till date.

·         Complete their examination, viva voce etc, by the time of joining the Institute.

·         Submit the final year mark-sheet and provisional certificate, latest by September 2018.

Applicants should take the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2017 conducted by the IIMs in order to apply for the programs.

Application Process

·         The application process is common to both PGDIM/PGDISEM program. Candidate can apply for more than one Program. If applying for more than one program, candidate needs to give his/her preferences and pay the applicable application fees.

·         Application Fee for each program is Rs.1000/- (Rs.500/- in case of SC/ST/PwD candidates) for applicants from India and SAARC countries and USD 50 for International students, plus bank charges as applicable. This fee can be paid through payment gateway.

·         The eligible candidates should apply through ONLINE mode only and register themselves on the Admissions Portal.
