About College:

Doctor Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya Sagar (A Central University), formerly University of Saugor, was established on 18th July 1946 by Dr. Sir Hari Singh Gour (Nov. 26, 1870 – Dec. 25, 1949). by his lifetime saving. This 18th University of India and the oldest and the biggest  University of Madhya Pradesh has perhaps the singular distinction of being founded by the munificence of a single person's hard earned money of about two crore of rupees.  Apart from being a great jurist and legal luminary par excellence, he was a great Patriot, Philanthropist, Educationist and Social Reformer.

Dr. Hari Singh Gour was the first Vice-Chancellor of Delhi University (1922 to 1926) and first Dean (1924) of The Faculty of Law in Delhi University. Dr. Hari Singh Gour also held the Vice-Chancellor of the Nagpur University, (two times in 1928 and 1936).

Forest Research Institute (FRI), Dehra Dun made a humble beginning as Forest School established in 1878. Initially named as Imperial Forest Research Institute, FRI came into being in 1906.  Later renamed as Forest Research Institute and Colleges, with a number of centres located at different places all over the country administering research as well as training of Forest Officers and Forest Rangers.  After reorganization of Forestry Research in the country and creation of Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE) in 1988, the training and research centres were given an independent status of institutes. Application Process

Application of candidates (vide Part-A of the Online Application Form, duly filled in) should be submitted on or before July 03, 2020 (11:00 am). The candidates fulfilling the candidates of eligibility will be invited for the selection process by IIMV, under intimation to NeGD/MeitY, GoI.

Applicants will be short-listed based on their performance in CAT / GMAT / GATE / GRE / IIMV Test, as chosen by the candidate; evaluation of SOP, technical knowledge and domain experience. Shortlisted candidates will be called for a Personal interview.

At the time of the interview, currently employed candidates will be required to produce “No Objection Certificate”. This Clearance (vide Part-B of the Application Form) from the Cadre Controlling Authority concerned would be an essential pre-requisite for all applicants from Central/State Government Departments/Organizations, for admission into the Program. For applicants from Central/State Public Sector Enterprises or Private Organizations, clearance from Competent Authority would be essential.

Final selection will be made based on a composite score comprising the performance in CAT/GMAT/GATE/GRE/IIMV Test, technical knowledge and domain experience, SOP and Personal Interview scores.
