Eligibility:

1.      Candidate for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy must, at the time of application, hold Master’s degree with at least 60% marks or an equivalent grade of the University, a deemed University or any other University incorporated by any law for the time being in force and recognized by the University. However, for SC/ST candidates, 55% marks are required instead of 60%.

2.      A candidate will ordinarily be permitted to work for Ph.D. Degree in the subject in which he/she has obtained his Master’s or Bachelor degree in Engineering / Technology / Applied Sciences. Vellore, a district capital in Tamil Nadu, has long been known for its stately fort and temple, renowned hospital and medical college, Parry's factories and the vast government industrial estate in nearby Ranipet. Vellore's history records several dynasties and powers. Admission Process

The admissions are strictly done on basis of merit and seats available at center. 

Subject to the above conditions, the final admission is based solely on the merit at the all India entrance test (B-CAT) conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Pune (India).

Candidates who are presently studying in the final year of Bachelor's degree course can also appear for the entrance test and seek admission for MCA Programin the year 2018-19. However, they are eligible for admission only if-
