About College:

The Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education, Gwalior was established by the Ministry of Education & Culture, Government of India as Lakshmibai College of Physical Education (LCPE) in August 1957, the centenary year of the War of Independence and located at Gwalior, where Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi, a valiant heroine of the war, had laid down her life during the First Freedom Struggle in 1857.

The Institute started as an affiliated college of the Vikram University, Ujjain and then came to the folds of Jiwaji University, Gwalior in 1964. The Institute was given the status of National importance, and hence it was renamed as Lakshmibai National College of Physical Education (LNCPE) in1973. In recognition of its unique status and character and to facilitate its further growth, the college was conferred the status of an ’Autonomous College’ of Jiwaji University, Gwalior in 1982.

In further recognition of the unique educational services rendered by the institute in the field of Physical Education, Sports and Research, the Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development conferred the status of a “Deemed to be University” in September 1995 under Section 3 of U.G.C. Act, 1956 vide notification no. F. 9-14/92-U.3 dated 21.09.1995 Hence, Institute was again renamed as Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education (LNIPE). The Institute is the first “Deemed to be University” in the field of Physical Education in India and enjoys a unique place of its kind in South Asia.

About College:

Jamia Hamdard (JH) was declared as a deemed-to-be University by the Govt. of India in 1989 on the recommendation of University Grants Commission (UGC) under the UGC Act 1956 in recognition of the services provided by erstwhile educational institutes established by the Hamdard National Foundation (HNF). These institutes, built over a period of time, included the Hamdard College of Pharmacy, Hamdard Tibbi College, Rufaida College of Nursing, the Institute of History of Medicine & Medical Research, and Indian Institute of Islamic Studies.

Jamia Hamdard was inaugurated by the then Prime Minister of India, Shri Rajiv Gandhi on August 1, 1989, who in his inspiring inaugural address applauded the efforts of Hakeem Abdul Hameed Saheb, the Founder, for setting up a number of institutions of learning which were finally merged to form a “Deemed to be University” namely Jamia Hamdard. In the words of Shri Rajiv Gandhi, “This will enable minority to go forward and help India to march forward”.

Spread over a sprawling green campus of about 100 acres, located on a prime piece of land in South Delhi, JH has ten Schools including a medical college, two hospitals – a 550 bedded modern medicine hospital and another 150 bedded Unani medicine hospital – on its campus. It has a big library, archive centre, separate hostels for girls and boys, gymnasium, a large playground, residential quarters for the staff, and also an off-campus in Kannur, Kerala.

Eligibility:

How to Apply:

General Information and Admission Guidelines

Following admission guidelines shall be adhered to while considering the candidates for admission in various programs of study at Jamia Hamdard for the academic session 2020-21

      Admission to all Under Graduate programs offered by Jamia Hamdard will be made through merit in NEET (UG)/JEE (Main-Paper-I) 2020/ CLAT-2020, wherever applicable, from amongst the applicants who have applied for admission in Jamia Hamdard. In case of other programs, Jamia Hamdard may select the candidates for admission on the basis of marks obtained in the Qualifying Examination or Interview or Entrance Test or any other mode as approved by the competent authority.

      Jamia Hamdard reserves the right to consider applications from Non-NEET (UG)/ Non-JEE / NonCLAT qualified candidates in case of non availability of suitable rank holders in a particular discipline subject to approval of the Competent Authority.

      Applications for all programs offered by Jamia Hamdard shall be accepted online through Online Admission Portal 2020. Jamia Hamdard reserves the right to accept applications for some or all programs of study offline, if required, subject to approval of the Competent Authority.

      Admission to MBBS/MD/MS programs of HIMSR shall be governed by the MCI Guidelines, which can be accessed on the MCI website.

      For programs of study governed by various councils, regulatory bodies, admissions will be carried out as per their respective guidelines.

      In the best interest of Jamia Hamdard, the Competent Authority of Jamia Hamdard, is authorized to take appropriate decision regarding admissions.

Important information and instructions

1.    Applicants are advised to read carefully the contents of this Information Bulletin & Prospectus and familiarize themselves with the relevant rules governing the Admission / Entrance Test / GD / Interview /Counselling of Jamia Hamdard. They should also check all the eligibility criteria for a particular program of study.

2.    Jamia Hamdard will not be responsible, if a candidate is denied admission for not fulfilling the eligibility criteria even if she/he has cleared all requisite eligibility conditions such as the Entrance Test / GD / Interview / Merit of qualifying examination and has been issued offer letter for admission to a particular Program of study.

3.    Bachelor’s degree signifies that the degree has been obtained under 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 system of education or equivalent. Application Form of candidate whose qualifying examination is not recognized by AIU (Association of Indian Universities) or by Jamia Hamdard shall not be considered for admission.

4.    All admissions shall be provisional. If any omission / error in the processing / verification of certificates / documents of a candidate or not fulfilling eligibility criteria etc. is detected at the time of admissions or thereafter, the University shall have the right to cancel such admission at any time.

5.    Display of name of short-listed candidates on the University website / notice board and appearing in Entrance Test / GD / Interview/ Counselling, issuance of the Admit Card / Interview letter do not confer any right to a candidate to claim admission if he / she does not fulfill all the eligibility conditions prescribed by Jamia Hamdard.

7.    The Jamia Hamdard shall have the right to change / cancel the schedule of Entrance Test / Interview / GD/ Counselling and the display of list of selected candidates at any stage.

8.    The Candidates who are not able to download their Admit Card (for entrance test only) must contact for the admit card from the Admission Section of Jamia Hamdard at least 2 days before the date of Entrance Test.

9.    Any amendments, made in Admission Rules or in the eligibility criteria from time to time, shall be applicable to applicants seeking admission in the Jamia Hamdard.

10.If it is discovered at any stage that a candidate has made a false representation or used fraudulent means for admission or that she/he does not fulfill the eligibility requirements, she/he will not be allowed to complete admission formalities and a FIR against the candidate may be lodged. If admission has been granted to such candidate, the same shall be liable to be cancelled at any stage.

A candidate seeking admission for the Post Graduate Programme should have passed the full time (not by correspondence or part time) Graduate degree examination in Science (12th+3yearsdegreeentire5years in science only) with Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics Microbiology or Biochemistry as the main subject or one of them as second subject in the three year degree or Agriculture / Food Science/ Polymer Science or Engineering / Technology degree of a AICTE/ recognised University with minimum second class. Those with equivalent overseas qualification would also be eligible for admission. The candidate needs to have consistently high academic performance and sound general knowledge.

Candidates appearing in the Final year of the qualifying examinations can also apply, however, they must submit their results/ provisional results (as given by University) latest on the day of the personal interview and selection, as without their degree result, student are not eligible to appearing for personal interview and will be eliminated from the admission process.

The admission to this Programme will be done according to the following two steps:

How to Apply:

STEP 1: Written Examination

A candidate seeking admission to the PGDP Course will be required to appear in the written Entrance Examination which will comprise of multiple choice questions. The syllabus for the written test is at the graduate level and the subjects include Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Engineering. The candidate has the option to choose questions, provided the number of questions does not exceed a xed limit. The entrance examination will be conducted on 10/07/2020 at Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi, Chennai, Hyderad and Ahmedabad centers of the Institute. The Institute has the discretion to x minimum qualifying marks for the examination and short list the candidates who will be eligible for further consideration for admission.

Application for admission to the course needs to be submitted on or before 21/07/2020 along with attested copies of mark sheets and other credentials. Application form, Prospectus and Syllabus can be obtained from 1st week of January, 2020 from any center by paying Rs. 500 in cash or by Demand Draft in favour of Indian Institute of Packaging payable at Mumbai or Kolkata or Delhi or Chennai or Hyderabad or Ahmedabad The forms can also be downloaded from the IIP website. STEP 2: Personal Interview

Candidates, who clear the written examination as above, will be called for Personal Interview which will be held at the Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi and Hyderabad centers of the Institute. The Institute has the discretion to x minimum qualifying marks for Personal Interview which will make a candidate eligible for further consideration for admission. The Final selection of candidates for admission to the course will be done in the order of their merit which will be based on the aggregate of marks calculated in each case according to the following weightage:

(i) Marks obtained in 10th Class/Matriculation: 10%

(ii) Marks obtained in 12th Class/Sr. Secondary: 10%

(iii) Marks obtained in Graduation level: 30%

(iv) Marks obtained in the Entrance Examination: 30%

About College:

The Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL) was established by the Government of India in 1969. Located at Mysuru, CIIL functions as a subordinate office for the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Higher Education. In about five decades of its existence, CIIL has emerged as a premier Institute for the development of all Indian languages. It is recognised within and outside the country for carrying out and supporting extensive research and publication on Indian languages. The Institute also offers an innovative programme with an objective to promote multilingualism among the citizens of this country and thereby promote national integrity and social harmony. This 10-month language training programme is offered mainly to in-service and prospective teachers, and also to general public interested in developing a career in Indian languages. The trainees opting for this programme have found it bearing potential to cause positive changes and provide rewarding experiences.

Course Name:

Diploma in Language Education (DLE)

Duration: 10-month

Eligibility:

General:

i.              The applicant should not have any formal degree, native/nativised proficiency or informal knowledge in the language applied for.

ii.             The applicants should not have been trained in any of the languages at the Regional Language Centres or have discontinued or have been terminated from the RLCs.

iii.            The applicants can select a language from the list provided in Table 1.

iv.           The applicants should select the language they want to learn carefully as change in the language choice is not permissible after joining the course.

v.            Preference of language should be clearly mentioned in the application. Otherwise, seats will be allotted according to the vacancies available in the Regional Language Centres.

vi.           The applicants opting for Urdu language should clearly specify the name of the Regional Language Centre viz., NRLC, Patiala / UTRC, Lucknow / UTRC, Solan otherwise the seats will be allotted according to the vacancies available in the three Regional Language Centres.

vii.          If a candidate is selected in a particular year and if they have not reported to the language training, their candidature will not be considered for next 3 years.

viii.         He/she must be below 45 years of age as on 1st July 2020. Age relaxation will be given only for In-service Teachers at the discretion of the selection committee

ix.           It should be noted that English, Hindi and Sanskrit languages are not taught in the 10- month Diploma in Language Education.

How to Apply:

i.              Applicants must download and send the hard copy of the application in the prescribed form which is available in the Institute’s website: www.ciil.org/ltp.aspx along with a crossed demand draft for. Rs. 150/- (Rupees One Hundred and Fifty only). Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of ‘MHRD HIGHER CAS CLG’ payable at New Delhi. The application must reach the Institute before the due date. There is no need to send an advance copy.

ii.             In-service teachers must submit their application through proper channel duly certified and forwarded by the Headmaster of the School and BEO/DEO/BDO/CEO/EO/DPI/ DDPI/ ZEO/BSA/Inspector of schools.

iii.            Teachers from Government/Fully Government-aided schools must produce their last pay certificate indicating details such as basic pay, scale of pay, DA, ADA, HRA, CCA, date of increment etc. If the pay is revised during the period of training, the applicant must produce the revised pay certificate with allowances. If deputation allowance or any other special allowance is permissible to be paid during the training period, this may also be mentioned in the last pay certificate.

iv.           The Centres do not pay employer’s contribution under the scheme of Contributory Fund. Applicants must make necessary arrangements for this.

v.            Prospective teachers/research scholars and general public must submit their applications directly to the Director, CIIL along with supporting documents. Financial assistance
