Established in 1981 with a campus in New Delhi, the International Management Institute (IMI) was India’s first corporate sponsored business school. Eligibility:

In order to be eligible for admission to the PGDM programme, the participants must possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent in any discipline, recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) for admission in postgraduate programmes. The Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years education after the completion of higher secondary schooling under the 10+2 system or equivalent. Candidates appearing in the final year of their Bachelor’s degree or equivalent are also eligible, provided they furnish the proof of having met the minimum eligibility criteria by September 20, 2019, failing which the candidates may be asked to withdraw from the programme. It is desired that candidates must complete all academic requirements before joining the programme to enable them to keep pace with the rigour and internal assessment schedule of the programme.

An applicant desirous of applying to the PGDM programme at IMI Kolkata in addition to IMI Delhi’s any one programme, i.e., PGDM/PGDM (HRM)/PGDM (B&FS) will be required to pay the common application fee of Rs. 2200/- only. In this case, the candidate needs to indicate appropriate interest for the PGDM programme of IMI Kolkata by ticking ‘√’on IMI Kolkata (box) as an option provided in the IMI Delhi application form under Programme Preference head.

Fellowship Programme in Management (FPM) [Offered by: IMI Kolkata]

Eligibility:

The ideal candidates for FPM are those who possess outstanding academic background, followed by professional experience and intellectual curiosity as well as diligence required to pursue the work of scholarship.

The candidates for the programme must have one of the following qualifications obtained from any of the universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India, or other educational institutions established by an act of parliament or declared to be deemed as a university under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India, or an equivalent qualification from an institution approved by AICTE. The candidates with foreign degrees must be from foreign universities or institutions, which are recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

·         A Post-graduate degree or its equivalent in any discipline with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks OR

·         A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade point average and a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience OR

·         Any professional qualifications such as CA, ICWA and CS with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks. In addition, all the candidates must have secured a minimum of 55% marks in all of their public examinations starting with the secondary level. Work experience in industry or academics maybe given due credit in the selection process.

Those who are appearing for their final year examination in the current academic year may also apply. However, their admission to the programme will be provisional subject to their successful completion of all requirements for obtaining the relevant degree before September 30, 2019. Preference will be given to those who have MBA degrees, Masters in Economics, Commerce, Psychology, Sociology and other related subjects.

The foundation of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University (originally known as Agra University) was laid on the 1st of July, 1927, as a result of hectic efforts of a band of enthusiastic educationists like Rev. 3. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION TO PH.D. PROGRAMME:

Subject to the conditions stipulated in the Ordinances, the following persons shall be eligible to seek admission to the Ph.D. programme:

3.1 Candidates for admission to the Ph.D. programme shall have a Master's degree or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body of the University, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 7-point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) or an equivalent degree from a

foreign educational Institution accredited by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency which is approved, recognized or authorized by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country for the purpose of assessing, accrediting or assuring quality and standards of educational institutions.

3.2 A relaxation of 5% of marks (without including the grace), from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade shall be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC(non-creamy layer)/Divyang and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the State Government from time to time, or for those who had obtained their Master's degree prior to 19th September, 1991.

3.3 Candidates who have cleared the M.Phil. Course work with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 7-point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and successfully completing the M.Phil. Degree shall be eligible to proceed to do research work leading to the Ph. D. Degree in the University as an integrated programme. A relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, shall be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-abled and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the Commission/State Govt. from time to time.

3.4 A candidate whose M.Phil. Dissertation has been evaluated and the viva voce is pending may be admitted to the Ph.D. programme of the University, subject to his final result.

3.5 Candidates possessing a Degree considered equivalent to M.Phil. Degree of an Indian Institution, from a Foreign Educational Institution accredited by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency which is approved, recognized or authorized by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country for the purpose of assessing, accrediting or assuring quality and standards of educational institutions, shall be eligible for admission to Ph.D. programme.

3.6 For Ph.D Degree in Allied subjects, candidate must have Master’s degree (as defend in 3.1) in the subject relevant to the prospered research work.

The bill for the establishment of Jawaharlal Nehru University was placed in the Rajya Sabha on September 1, 1965 by the then Education Minister, Mr M.C. Chagla. During the discussion that followed, Hon. M.P. Mr. Bhushan Gupta voiced the opinion that this should not be yet another university. ABVSME, JNU, would take 50 students each year for its MBA programme.

How to Apply:

•      Application Fees: Applicants for the MBA programme at Atal Bihari Vajpayee School of Management and Entrepreneurship, JNU, have to pay the following application fees (non-refundable).

•      Rs. 2000 (two thousand) only for General Category and OBC applicants.

•      Rs. 1000 (one thousand) only for SC/ST/PWD applicants.

•      A candidate has to appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT) in 2018 conducted by IIMs. Any candidate applying to get admission into the JNU MBA programme must submit his/her CAT Test Registration Number.

•      JNU will use CAT scores for short-listing/selecting the candidates for the MBA programme. IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the programme.

•      Those having applied to the MBA programme of ABVSME, JNU, on qualifying the CAT will be shortlisted and then invited for an interview.

•      Common Admission Test (CAT), 2018, scores will be used for short-listing candidates for interviews for admission in the MBA programme of ABVSME, JNU.  At least three times the number of intake in each category would be shortlisted for interviews.

•      The final list of selected candidates will be based on CAT scores and the marks obtained in the interview. The weightage on CAT scores shall be 70% and the weightage of marks obtained in the interviews shall be 30%.

•      ABVSME, JNU, will strictly follow the reservation policy as per Government of India rules.

•      Since MBA is a professional course, no additional deprivation points (as it may be the case in some other JNU courses) will be taken into consideration for admission.

About College:

The Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE) was established in 1964 for the study of issues and policies relating to public enterprises (PEs).  Shri.S.S Khera, ICS, the then Cabinet Secretary, Government of India, had conceived the idea of a research institution that would undertake a systematic and sustained study of issues relevant to the formulation of policies towards public enterprises. In the early sixties, when PEs were designed as the principal instrument to serve the social and economic objectives of development, Shri. Khera felt that there was need for an institute which would collect relevant information and documents on PEs, study specific issues and undertake consultancy and training exclusively for PEs. Dr.V.V. Ramanadham, the then Professor and Head of the Department of Commerce, Osmania University, translated Shri Khera’s concept into a reality that is IPE, with the active support and guidance provided by the late Dr. D. S Reddy, then Vice-Chancellor, Osmania University as an autonomous, non-profit society at the initiative of the then Cabinet Secretary to the Government of India, Shri S.S.Khera, ICS, and late Dr.D.S.Reddy, Vice-Chancellor of Osmania University. The Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, recognized the Institute as a ‘Centre of Excellence’ in social science research in 1976.  The Institute is partly funded by the ICSSR and the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Eligibility:

The candidates fulfilling all criteria are Eligible for the offered programs: the Candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA(45% in case of SC/ST/PC Candidates), from any UGC recognized University by the Ministry of HRD, GOI. Candidates appearing for the Final year degree Examinations (Or Equivalent Examination) can also apply. The proof of acquiring the Qualification should be submitted within four weeks from the date of commencement of the course.

Selection Procedure

Final selection will be based on the performance of the candidate’s score in CAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA/CMAT/GMAT, Group Discussion and Personal Interview and a Consistent Academic Record. Equal Weightage shall be given to the Performance in Admission Test, Group Discussion, Personal Interviews and Consistent Academic Record.

Step 4: Upload the passport size photograph, accept the declaration and submit the online application form.

Step 5: Proceed to payment option and pay Rs.3360 (Rs.3000 +12% GST) for Indian applicants and and Rs.5040 (Rs.4500 + 12% GST) for NRI, PIO, CIO and Foreign Nationals

The Design Aptitude Test (DAT) is conducted jointly by MIT Institute of Design MITID Pune and Avantika University Ujjain.

Stage 2: Design Aptitude Test (DAT)

Design Aptitude Test (DAT) will be conducted on 7tht April 2018 between 10 AM to 1 PM at various test centres across India. (Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Indore, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune)

The DAT committee reserves its right to change or cancel any of these centres.

Based on scores obtained from DAT, shortlisted candidates will be called for studio test and personal interview.

MITID and Avantika University will have their separate merit list of shortlisted candidates.

Stage 3: Studio Test and Interview

·         The studio tests followed by personal interviews will be conducted separately by MITID at Pune campus and Avantika University at Ujjain campus.

·         The list of shortlisted candidates for the Studio test and Personal Interview will be announced on the respective websites of MITID and Avantika University.

·         All those candidates called for the studio test and personal interview are required to attend the studio tests and interview, which completes the process of selection.

·         The Admission Committee decides the procedures, grades and weightage every year.

·         The norms for the selection are the sole prerogative of the Admission Committee and the decision of the Admission Committee and the Management in any of the matters concerning the admission process and selection will be final. Any direct or indirect attempt to influence the admission committee or its members, academic office bearers or management will lead to the automatic disqualification of the candidate(s).

Eligibility:

To be eligible for admission to the PGDM Program(s), the participants must possess a bachelor’s equivalent degree, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent in any discipline, from a recognised university in India or abroad (recognised by the UGC / Association of Indian Universities). However, the final selection may be based on a higher cut-off percentage depending on the total number of applicants for the program. The bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years education, after completing higher secondary schooling under the 10+2 system or equivalent. Candidates appearing in the final year of their bachelor’s degree or equivalent are also eligible, provided they furnish proof of meeting the minimum eligibility criteria by September 30, 2019. ·         Cost of an application form will be Rs.2200/- for an applicant desirous of applying to any one of the two-Year Program(s) of IMI Delhi. In addition, if the applicant desires to apply for another program(s) also then candidate is required to pay Rs.500/- per program(s) additionally.

·         The admission fee can be paid through Credit Card/ Debit Card/Bank Transfer through the designated payment gateway. No receipts are to be sent to IMI’s Admission Office in such a case.
