Fellow Program in Management (FPM)

Eligibility

The candidates for the programme must have one of the following qualifications obtained from any of the universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India, or other educational institutions established by an act of parliament or declared to be deemed as a university under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India, or an equivalent qualification from an institution approved by AICTE. The degrees of candidates from foreign universities must be recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Similarly, the PGDM of Indian Institutions must be recognized as equivalent to MBA by AIU or approved by AICTE.

Master’s degree or its equivalent in any discipline with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks

OR

Professional qualifications such as CA/ICWA/CS along with a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or equivalent grade point average.

OR

Five year Integrated Master’s degree in any discipline, with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or equivalent grade point average, obtained after completing the higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent.

OR

Four Year/Eight Semester Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech/B.Arch.) with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade point and additionally a minimum of two years of work experience.

Those appearing for their final examination in the respective discipline can also apply. Such students if selected shall be provisionally admitted provided they complete all requirements in obtaining their Master’s Degree before September 30, 2019. The admission of these candidates shall remain provisional until they produce the mark sheet proving that they satisfy the eligibility criteria. The deadline for submitting the final year mark sheet is December 31, 2019.

·         The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree (minimum 55% marks or equivalent) that has been recognized by an authorized body in India. About College:

The Institute of Mathematics and Applications was established in the year 1999, by the Science and Technology Department, Government of Odisha with wide ranging aims and objectives as notified in the Gazette No. 18, July 23, 1999 / SRAVANA, 1, 1921. In the last eighteen years since its inception, consistent with its aims and objectives, it has been active in research, teaching and nurturing talents in mathematics. Impressive activities of the Institute and its potential have persuaded the State Government to graciously lease a piece of land measuring about twenty one acres on which the TATA Steel Ltd. has constructed the present campus.

How to Apply:

Application Procedure (U.G. & P.G.)

(a) Online: The application can be filled in online mode following details of instructions given in the Institute's website. The filled in application along with enclosures (detailed below) should be up loaded by June 17, 2019, 12:00, midnight

(b) Offline: Application form and information Brochure can be collected from Institute's counter from 11:00 A.M to 4:30 P.M on working days on payment of application fee (see below) in the shape of DD of a nationalized bank payable to Director, IMA, Bhubaneswar at Bhubaneswar

A candidate shall be supplied with Information Brochure and Application form by post on a written request enclosing application fees in the form of DD. In that case the candidate should supply his address on a separately typed or legibly written plane paper which will be posted by the office of the Institute on the envelope for sending Information Brochure and Application form

The form may also be down loaded from the Institute's website. The filled in application along with enclosures detailed below should be sent to the Director, Institute of Mathematics and Applications, Andharua, Bhubaneswar - 751029 by speed post or in person so as to reach the Institute on or before June 17, 2019, 5:00 P.M

Application fees for the courses

(i) Online application: Rs. 700/- (Rupees Seven hundred only) for general category candidates and Rs. 400/- (Rupees Four hundred only) for SC/ST candidates.

(ii) Paper copy application on hand delivery, from office counter of IMA: Rs. 800/- (Rupees Eight hundred only) for general category candidates and Rs. 500/- (Rupees five hundred only) for SC/ST candidates.

(iii) Paper copy application on postal delivery by speed post: Rs. 900/- (Rupees Nine hundred only) for general category candidates and Rs 600/- (Rupees Six hundred only) for SC/ST candidates
