About College:

State University of Performing and Visual Arts, ab initio, established as Integrated Campus of the Government Technical Institution(s) Society came into existence by Haryana Government Act No. 24 of 2014 with the objective to facilitate and promote studies and research in emerging areas of higher education with focus on new frontiers of Design, Fine Arts, Urban Planning and Architecture and Film & Television and also to achieve excellence in these and connected fields. The University is located at Rohtak in the State of Haryana – about 80 Kms. from Delhi on Delhi-Hissar - Sirsa National Highway (NH-10) and is well connected to NH-1, being only 90k.m.from Panipat. About College:

Jiwaji University Gwalior came into existence on May 23, 1964, through M.P. Govt. Ordinance no. 15 of 1963. Late Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, the then President of India, laid the foundation stone on 11th December 1964 at a sprawling campus of over 225 acres of land at Naulakha Parade ground. This was a generous contribution of Scindia family, in particular Kailashwasi Maharaja Shrimant Jiwaji Rao Scindia and late Rajmata Shrimati Vijayaraje Scindia. The institution was christened after the name of Kailashwasi Shrimant Jiwajirao Scindia as a standing memorial to his persona. The motto of the university is embedded in its logo Vidyaya Prapyate Tejah.

·         Those candidates who have obtained a diploma by attending a condensed course after taking a certificate in Physical Education are not eligible for admission.

·         Those who have represented their University in Inter-university tournaments and States in Senior National Tournaments (Sports Federation) / Games and Sports included in the SOSPE curriculum and those belonging to SC / ST / OBC may be considered for admission, if they secure 45% marks in BPE, B.P.Ed. or D.P.Ed. examination.

How to Apply:

·         The student can apply for admission by filling application form online through the website or www.mponline.gov.in Payment for the application fees can be made through credit/debit card or by net-banking. The application fee is Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 800/- for SC/ST/OBC). Each student can submit admission form separately for a maximum of five courses. Separate registration fee of Rs. 200/- per course has to be deposited, in addition to application fee Rs. 1000/- along with the admission form.

·         The printout of admission form along with the Photocopies of the Mark Sheets and other required documents (SC / ST / OBC / FF / PH / Kashmiri migrant / Parsi / Staff Ward / NRI / NCC / NSS / Sports, etc.) are required to be submitted to the Chairman Admission Committee, School of Studies in Physics, Jiwaji University, Gwalior474011, either by Speed Post or in person.

      The university has the right to continue or discontinue a course depending upon the number of student admitted and financial viability of the course.

      University has hostel facility for both Boys and Girls. After admission separate application form is to be submitted for hostel facility.

      *M.Sc. Neuroscience is DBT sponsored programme. Candidates admitted shall get a fellowship of Rs. 5000/- P.M.

      If the seats remain vacant in entrance test based courses, the students can be admitted through College Level Counseling.
