Eligibility:

The applicant seeking admission to the FPM program of IMI needs to be adhering to the following Eligibility Criteria:

a. Academic qualifications: To be considered for admission into the FPM program at IMI, Delhi, the applying candidate must possess one of the following qualifications:

- A Masters’ degree or its equivalent in any discipline with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks OR

2) Master's degree in Sciences with a valid score in GATE/UGC/ CSIR/NET/NBHM or equivalent qualification. Candidates must have obtained at least 65% marks or 7 CGPA out of 10 in their Master's. OR

2.    Ph.D in Sciences:

a) GATE Qualification

c) DST-INSPIRE or other national fellowship

National Institute of Science Communication and Information Resources (NISCAIR) came into existence   on 30 September 2002 with the merger of National Institute of Science Communication (NISCOM) and Indian National Scientific Documentation Centre (INSDOC). Eligibility:

Masters Degree with 55% marks in any subject with bachelors degree in science or a bachelor degree with 55 % mark, in agriculture science, medical science, engineering, technology or equivalent from a recognized university/ institution. Candidate with basic or combination of qualifications in Sciences, Engineering or Social Sciences are also eligible. Having a National fellowship (JRF/SRF/INSPIRE) or equivalent will be an advantage.

Admission process.

Admissions to AcSIR PhD programmes are conducted twice in a year. The Participating CSIR Labs announces the admission criteria and procedure of admission through National Dailies and Web media.

Shortlisted candidates fulfilling the shortlisting criteria of respective participating CSIR Labs will be called for test and / or interview by the Selection Committees of the respective laboratories of CSIR.

Based on the Academic record and the performance of the candidates in the test and / or interview, the Selection Committee of the concerned CSIR Laboratory recommends names of the selected candidates to the respective Deans.

The number of candidates called for test/interview will be commensurate with the number of seats/requirements in each laboratory.

Established by the State Legislature Act 28 of 2014 on July 24, 2014, CSRU has a sprawling campus of 75 acres situated 2 kilometres from Gohana Bypass, Jind. The university was established with the vision of imparting quality education by creating most conducive ambience for the production and dissemination of knowledge guided by innovative thinking, scientific enquiry, sublime human values, sustainable ecology, and democratic ethos. B.Ed. or B.A. B.Ed. or B.Sc. B.Ed. (NCTE, RCI etc.. Approved ) or an examination recognized as equivalent to B.Ed. with not less than 50% marks in aggregate are eligible for the admission to the programme.

Note:

(i)     There shall be no rounding off of percentage of marks of the qualifying examination from 0.5% and above to next higher number for determining the eligibility i.e. 49.5% and above will not be rounded off to 50%.

(ii)    47.5% marks for SC/ST candidates of Haryana State only. As per instructions from state Govt. letter dated:-16-07-2014

PREPARATION OF MERIT LIST FOR ADMISSION:

Merit for admission to M.Ed. Course shall be determined on the basis of marks obtained in the Qualifying

Examination. However, if two or more candidates have obtained Equal marks, following procedure will be

used for the preparation of merit:

(i)           Candidate senior in age will be given first preference

(ii)          If tie still persists, then marks obtained in 12th will be considered

(iii)         If tie still persists, then marks in 10th will be considered to break the tie

This section provides an overview of the steps involved in counselling and admission process.

A. Online Registration

        Candidate should visit website www.crsu.ac.in and http://hrymed.com

        Candidates should go through prospectus for gathering information/instruction in details about counselling schedules and procedures. Softcopy is available on the website.

        For phase-I candidates will register themselves as per key dates mentioned in the admission schedule for Self-Financing Colleges of Education affiliated to this University.

        For participation in online admission process, a candidate has to register by submitting personal data/requisite information correctly in the online application form. On submitting this data/information user Id and password will be generated/ created for use in future logins by the candidate.

        For subsequent logins, candidates will be able to login directly with their user Id and password. Candidates should remember to logout at the end of their session so that the details filled by them cannot be tampered with or modified by unauthorized person.

        Candidates are advised to record/remember their password for future logins and not to disclose or share their password with anybody.

        It is solely the responsibility of the candidates to verify that their personal data including Category, Subcategory, Residential Status, gender etc are consistent with documentary evidence.

        If the personal data submitted /entered by the candidates are found to be wrong at the time verification of certificate either during reporting or at a later stage, the allotment of seat/ provisional admission is liable to be cancelled.

The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in the bachelor’s degree would be based on the practice followed by the institution/university from where the candidate has obtained the degree. In case of the candidate being awarded grades/CGPA instead of marks, the equivalence would be based on the equivalence certified by the institution/university from where they have obtained the bachelor’s degree. In case the institution/university does not have any scheme for converting the CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by dividing the obtained CGPA by the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the result by 100.

Selection Process for FPM 2019

The candidates will be selected on the basis of overall performance in Research Aptitude Test (RAT) and Personal Interview (PI). The selection process is as follows:

Stage 1: The candidates satisfying the academic eligibility criteria as mentioned above should submit their application online.

Stage 2: Based on the applications received, candidates satisfying Academic eligibility criteria will be called for the Research Aptitude Test (RAT), to be conducted at IIM Indore or any other designated centres during March/ April 2019.

Stage 3: After the Research Aptitude Test (RAT) candidates will be shortlisted for the Personal Interview (candidates will be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:8 for the approved intake across the categories) the shortlisting of the candidates will be done considering only those candidates having positive raw scores and minimum marks in RAT (Minimum marks will be decided by the Admissions Committee).

Stage 4: Shortlisted candidates shall appear for the Personal Interview (PI) at IIM Indore (during April 2019). IIM Indore also expects a consistent and minimum performance in the different parameters of Personal Interview (PI), which will be decided by Admissions Committee. Candidates not meeting the minimum performance in any of PI parameters will not be considered for the next stage of selection process i.e. Stage-5.

Stage 5: Final selection will be based on the requirements of the academic area to which the candidate has applied and an area-wise offer list will be prepared. Only the candidates satisfying the requirements mentioned in earlier stages will be considered for the final selection. Category-wise and Academic Area-wise merit list will be generated based on Composite Score (CS) as mentioned in Table – 1 and the provisional admission offers will be made.

How to Apply:

Application Procedure: Candidates seeking admissions to the Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) of IIM Indore should submit their application online the period Wednesday, October 17, 2018 to Monday, January 28, 2019 and pay the online non‐refundable/non-transferable application fee of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only) + GST extra for General and NC-OBC category and Rs. 500/-(Rupees five hundred only) + GST extra for SC, ST and PWD category.

Candidates belonging to NC‐OBC, SC, ST and PWD categories need to produce valid certificate(s) in support of their reservation category. No change in the category will be entertained after submitting the application.

Candidates who have registered for CAT 2018 and indicated their interest for FPM of IIM Indore while doing the registration for CAT 2018 will not be required to pay any application fee as mentioned above, if they apply for FPM 2019 of IIM Indore.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT:

·         Currently the FPM students at IIM Indore are provided the fellowship grant/stipend of Rs.27,000/-(Rupees twenty seven thousand only) per month during their course work (Term-I, II III and IV) and Rs.33,000/-(Rupees thirty three thousand only) per month after clearing the area comprehensive examination as per norms.

·         A contingency grant of Rs.25,000/-(Rupees twenty five thousand only) per annum for 04 years is also provided to FPM students for supporting the research efforts and is subject to the norms of the programme.

·         The Institute subsidizes for presenting papers in National Conference once in a year from second year onwards.

·         For International Conferences, the Institute subsidizes expenses subject to a ceiling of Rs. Two lakhs with a provision of attending a maximum of two International Conferences plus International Doctoral Colloquium or International Professional Development Workshop during the entire period of the programme but not beyond five years.

1.      CANDIDATE REGISTRATION: Click the registration form and fill the necessary details like: Name of Candidate, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, Category, Name of Programme etc.

2.      PAYMENT OPTION: Registered candidate may deposit fee by any of the following modes of payment:

  1. NET BANKING
  2. DEBIT CARD
  3. CREDIT CARD

3.      FILLING OF APPLICATION FORM: After Registration and depositing of fee, registered candidate may fill the complete application form with all the fields given in the form.

4.      UPLOADING DOCUMENTS: In final step, the following scanned documents (all documents /image/signature should be in “jpg”,”gif”,”bmp”,”jpeg”(format only ) are to be uploaded:

a)     10th mark sheet (for the purpose of proof of Name of candidate, Date of Birth, Father’s and Mother’s Name etc.) not greater than 500kb.

b)     12th mark sheet not greater than 500kb.

c)     Mark sheet of qualifying exam alongwith degree of lower examination if any not greater than 500kb.

d)     Photograph of candidate (should not be greater than 75kb) and Maximum size(Width 132px Height 170px)Minimum Size (Width 102px Height 140px).

e)     Signature of candidate (should not be greater than 50kb) and Maximum size(Width 210px Height 80px)Minimum Size (Width 150px Height 50px).

f)       Proof of fee concession, if applicable not greater than 500kb.

g)     Caste Certificate, if applicable not greater than 500kb.

5.      GENERATING PREVIEW: After uploading the document, a preview of the complete application will be generated. If necessary, academic information can be edited before locking.

6.      LOCK FORM TO GENERATE ENROLLMENT NO. AND ADMISSION LETTER: Finally the application form is locked to generate enrolment No. and admission letter. It is mandatory for every candidate to lock the form. If a candidate fails to lock the form, it will be assumed that he/she is not interested in taking the admission and his/her candidature will be automatically stands cancelled.

No application form for admission received after the last date specified for the purpose will be entertained.
