Institute of Health Management Research (IIHMR), Jaipur (formerly known as Indian Institute of Health Management Research), was founded in 1984. In the three decades, the Institute has created a niche in high quality research, education and training in Health Management and Hospital Management. Admission Process: The admission process will include three steps: Screening of applications, IIHMR Research Aptitude Test (IRAT) and Personal Interview.

IIHMR Research Aptitude Test (IRAT): IIHMR University will conduct a Research Aptitude Test for eligible candidates. IRAT will be a written test consisting of multiple choice questions testing candidate’s English language proficiency, reasoning, basic quantitative analysis and research aptitude.

Course Name:

Master of Public Health (MPH) [Offered by Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, USA & IIHMR University (Cooperative Programme)]

Eligibility:

Interested individuals from India or surrounding low- and middle-income countries must have:

·         A Bachelor degree.

·         A minimum of 2 years of full-time health- related experience beyond the Bachelor’s/Master’s degree. (Work experience is waived for Ph.D.  and M.B.B.S graduates.)

·         Prior college-level mathematics courses; prior college-level biology course plus another health-related course.

·         Demonstrated English proficiency through prior degree, TOEFL or IELTS.

·         Demonstrated quantitative and verbal skills through GRE, MCAT, LSAT, or GMAT. (Applicants with degrees beyond the Bachelor’s may request a waiver of standardized test scores if they are other sources of quantitative abilities.)

How to Apply:

Applicants seeking admission to the MPH program must go through a prescreening process, and need to be pre-approved by IIHMR before they apply.  Applicants who wish to apply for the MPH program should follow the steps given below:

STEP 1: Candidate should download a pre-screening questionnaire from the website and send the completely filled pre-screening questionnaire along with updated CV/resume for pre-approval to mphadmissions@iihmr.edu.in by May 31, 2019.

STEP 2: A confirmation mail will be sent to each candidate after receipt of the materials in STEP 1.  Then a  pre-approval email for the application will be sent to the candidate by IIHMR University, followed by another email from JHSPH with an invitation to complete the online MPH application through SOPHAS (Schools of Public Health Application System)http://sophas.org/program-finder/ In order to be considered for admission, the candidate has to submit the completed application (fully submitted application along with the application fee of US $ 135) by JULY 01, 2019.

The genesis of the National Archives of India may be traced back to the year 1860 when Sandeman, the Civil Auditor, in his report stressed the need of relieving the offices of congestion by destruction of the papers of routine nature and transfer of all valuable records to a ‘Grand Central Archive’. However, things took a concrete shape in 1889, when Professor G.W. Forrest of Elphinstone College, Bombay was entrusted the job of examining the records of the Foreign Department of the Government of India. Earlier, he had earned reputation as an Archivist for his work in the Bombay Records Office. In his report, he made a strong plea for transferring all records of the administration of East India Company to a Central Repository. As a result, Imperial Records Department (IRD) came into existence on 11 March 1891 which was located in Imperial Secretariat Building at Calcutta (Kolkata). Professor G.W Forrest was made its Officer in Charge. His main task was to examine, transfer, arrange and catalogue records of all the Departments and to organise a Central Library in place of various Departmental Libraries. After G.W. Forrest, the work at Imperial Records Department (IRD) progressed well under S.C. Hill (1900), C.R. Wilson (1902), N.L. Hallward (1904), E. Denison Ross (1905), A.F. Scholfield (1915), R.A. Blaker (1919), J.M. Mitra (1920) and Rai Bahadur A.F.M. Abdul Ali (1922-1938) who were scholars as well as Records Keepers in their own right.

The School of Planning and Architecture had a modest beginning in 1941 as a Department of Architecture of Delhi Polytechnic. Fee Structure: Rs. 11,25,000/- (Rupees Eleven lakh Twenty Five Thousand Only) for the entire programme. The fee structure comprises tuition fee, hostel fee* (lodging as well as boarding) professional and incidental expenditure on account of the programme. *Incase no hostel accommodation is available necessary relief in fees is given to such non-resident students.
