Notes:

Important Instructions:

4)    Candidates appearing for final examinations of their Bachelor’s programme in 2020 can also apply, provided they have obtained requisite marks or equivalent (as per item 3 above) based on latest available grades / marks at the time of applying.

5)    Candidates with qualifications acquired through correspondence or distancelearning programmes are eligible only if (a) the programmes are recognized by the DEC-IGNOU (b) they have passed the qualifying examination at the time of applying, with minimum requisite marks in average calculated as per item (3) above. Jiwaji University Gwalior came into existence on May 23, 1964, through M.P. Govt. Ordinance no. 15 of 1963. Late Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, the then President of India, laid the foundation stone on 11th December 1964 at a sprawling campus of over 225 acres of land at Naulakha Parade ground. How to Apply:

·         Firstly the student should go through the advertisement published in News papers or University website and decide in which courses/ she / he wants to apply. The students can also visit the website of the university. After deciding, the course/courses in which she / he wish to apply The student may fill up form himself/ herself or the student can go to the kiosks of mp online and ask the kiosk person for submission of admission form of Jiwaji University Gwalior. The kiosk person will help the student in filling the form. The student is required to carry with her / his two passport size recent photographs, and all mark sheets and certificate for getting it scanned and attached to the admission form.

·         The student will have to fill her/ his name, father’s name and occupation mother’s name, date of birth, category to which she/he belongs, nationality, place of birth, address for correspondence, extracurricular activities, status of the student whether she/ he is in service, and all her / his academic details of 10th,12th,graduation. At the end they will have to sign a declaration. At the same time she/he also has to fill the Proctorial Board form. The students also require filling their mobile number to enable them to send SMS.

·         Merit of admission will be prepared on the basis of scanned documents enclosed by candidate in application form. Therefore if candidate does not enclose all required documents or furnish wrong information he/she will be himself/ herself responsible for any consequences.

·         The Candidate has to take the print outs of Admission Form cum Receipt of payment and a Proctorial Board form and required to submit printout of completed application, along with the photocopies of his testimonials viz. photocopies of all mark sheets, caste certificate, certificates related to the participation in NCC, NSS, Sport and Co curricular activities at the time of admission in respective departments. The list of original documents and their self attested photocopies to be brought at the time of reporting to the respective department by the candidate himself/herself personally is given in the end of the rules.

·         Last date for submission of admission form, and other important dates are given in the end of the rules.

·Payment of application fees of Rs. 1000/- (Rs 800/- for SC/ST/OBC) together with Rs. 200/- registration per subject through mp online. For every course, registration fee of Rs. 200/- per course / subject has to be paid along with the application fees Rs. 1000/- at the kiosk centre (For example if a candidate applies for three courses. The applicants who have obtained 10+2 through open university systems directly, without having any basic qualifications for pursuing such studies, are not eligible for admission in Law Courses.

(a) The applicants appearing for the qualifying examination in March/April 2018 are allowed to take the Entrance Test - 2018 provisionally, subject to the condition that their candidature shall stand cancelled in case they do not pass the 10 + 2 March / April Exams 2018 with the required percentage of marks.

(b) Candidates passing the compartment papers of qualifying exam of 10 + 2 subsequently shall not be eligible for admission even if a seat is available

(c) In case an applicant has passed a qualifying examination from Board/University whose degree has not been notified as equivalent to the Punjabi University, Patiala, he/she will have to produce the eligibility certificate from Punjabi University, Patiala at the time of interview,failing which his / her candidature shall not be considered.

(d) Candidates whose declaration of results is delayed should apply well in time to the concerned Board of examination to forward a confidential result directly to Principal, Army Institute of Law, Mohali, Punjab. The responsibility to ensure its timely dispatch will be that of the candidate. Delayed receipt of result shall render the candidate ineligible for admission.

·         Admission to 60 seats for wards of army personnel will be done through entrance test(Online LET) conducted by AIL under the aegis of AWES.

·         Admission to 04 seats in the All India Category will also through the same entrance test.

·         Candidates for both Army and All India Category will be called for counselling as per merit in the written exam. Admission will be granted only if the candidate is found eligible on the day of counselling.
