The Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MOP&NG), Government of India set up The Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT) at Jais, Dist. Amethi, Uttar Pradesh through an Act of Parliament (“Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology Act 2007"). 2.    GATE / Non-GATE candidates’ entry criteria:

For candidates with valid GATE score, shortlisting for interview will depend on the cut-off score decided for each program.

For candidates WITHOUT GATE score (essentially the sponsored candidates), for academic year 2019-20, selection will be through a written exam and/or interview. Decision to conduct this written exam to be made depending on the number of GATE applicants in the program.

Shortlisted candidates will be called for a written test and interview. Final selection will be made based on the performance in written test/interview, GATE score and previous academic performances taken together.

Eligibility for Sponsorship Category

Sponsorship basis: Valid GATE score is not required. These candidates will have to qualify in a subject-wise written test/interview. Such candidates will not be eligible for M.Tech. scholarship. The candidate should have worked for the sponsoring organization for at least two years and need to submit a No Objection Certificate, leave approval for at least two years and the company should guarantee continued employment during the period of study.

Minimum Marks Criterion in Qualifying Examination

A candidate securing 60% or more marks in an aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, and has passed English as a subject of study at the Senior School Certificate Examination Level (Core or Elective) AND having JEE Main 2019 Rank (Paper I) shall be eligible for admission to the first semester of B. Tech. /B.E., course provided he/she has passed in each subject separately.

B.Tech. Course at IIIT-D

A candidate who has secured 80% or more marks in the aggregate of best of five subjects including Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and 80% or more in Mathematics in qualifying examination AND having JEE Main 2019 Rank (Paper I) is eligible.

B.Arch. Course at IGDTUW

No candidate shall be admitted to B. Arch. course unless she has passed an examination at the end of the 10+2 scheme of examination with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and also at least 50% in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination or has passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate AND qualified JEE Main 2019 (Paper II) examination.

Submission of Registration-cum-Counseling Fee

All candidates desirous of seeking admission to the engineering / architecture programs at DTU, IGDTUW, IIIT-D and NSUT are required to visit website www.jacdelhi.nic.in to pay a non-refundable registration-cum-counseling fee of Rs.1500/- ( plus transactions charges as applicable)

NOTE: ONLINE REGISTRATION IS ALLOWED AS PER COUNSELING SCHEDULE ONLY.

The candidate will initiate the fee submission for online registration process by entering his/her following details:

·         JEE (Main) 2019 Application Number

·         Name (as per JEE Admit card)

If amount gets deducted from the candidate's bank I card, account but the candidate is not able to register, it indicates that transaction has failed. Such failed transactions are refunded to the same bank 7 card account automatically by the payment system within 7 working days.

ln such cases, the fee should be paid again for registration without waiting for the refund. The candidate may inform JAC Delhi by sending an email to support@jacdelhi.nic.in, providing the candidate’s details (JEE Mains Application Number, Name, Mobile Number, Date and Time of Transaction).

Jiwaji University Gwalior came into existence on May 23, 1964, through M.P. Govt. Ordinance no. 15 of 1963. The history of Centre dates back to 1974 when the Department of Electronics (DoE) now Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Govt. of India and the University Grants Commission (UGC) set up the first CEDT within the premises of Indian Institute of Science (IISc.), Bangalore with assistance from Swiss Development Corporation. A decade after the successful running of CEDT, Bangalore, DoE (now MeitY) set up similar centres at Aurangabad, Imphal andSrinagar in 1987, Calicut, Mohali and Gorakhpur in 1989, with an objective to develop human resources at different levels and in different specialized areas of Electronics Design. Aim was to bridge the gap between the academic institutions and industries. The CEDT centres based at Aurangabad, Calicut, Gorakhpur, Imphal and Srinagar were merged with DOEACC (a scientific society of MeitY) in 2001. In order for its metamorphism into an Institute of National Importance the Society was renamed as ‘National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) on October 10, 2011.
